United Nations 50th Anniversary Remembrance Mass
In recognition of the Mayo men and women who served and died with the Irish Defence Forces on U.N. support operations over the past 50 years.

Remembrance Concert.
In the Royal Theatre Castlebar at 8pm,with Leading International and Mayo Choirs, the Mayo Concert Orchestra, also featuring leading Mayo singers tenor Sean Costello and soprano Francie McNicholas. Tickets €15 from the box office or ticket master international.

Parade with Regimental Associations,from Military Barracks in Castlebar, assembly 1pm, departure 1.30pm, arrival at 1.50 pm. Participants, regimental associations and veterans and bands.
Opening ceremony starts 2pm.

Guests should be in attendance at the opening of the peace park at the earliest opportunity as there will be heavy security and traffic diversions in place.Guests are welcome to attend a small reception in the foyer of Days Hotel beside the park from 12.30pm.
