Here are the best stories in Cleveland and surrounding communities today:

  1. After decades of planning, new plans for an urban park overlooking the Cuyahoga River and the downtown skyline at Irishtown curve are about to move from vision to reality. The designs are the result of extensive civic collaboration involving the City of Cleveland and Cuyahoga County as well as several other agencies and non-profit organizations. The latest iteration of the 23-acre park aligns with new plans designed by the Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Port Authority to stabilize the Irishtown curve hill and prevent it from collapsing into the river. The Good Samaritan who helped push the car was discovered in the driveway with a gunshot wound to his chest. (Cleveland 19 News)
