National Park Bicycles: State Launches Special Edition Builds for Iconic Public Lands

A Yellowstone Cruiser, Joshua Tree Grinder, and Redwoods Fixie are just a few of the stunning new bikes from State Bicycle Co.

State Bicycle Co. has swallowed up market share in the bicycle industry beyond overpopulation for two reasons: Builds that don’t exceed the average Joe’s budget and styles that perform as well as they look good.

And just in time for cooler weather and more comfortable rides, State unveiled a hot new collection of bikes and limited edition equipment. Additionally, the bikes mark a partnership with the National Park Foundation (NPF), so the proceeds from the sale of each bike (and equipment, too) will benefit the organization.

Check bikes and equipment below.

In total, the collection includes four different bike models in five park-specific color combinations, as well as specially designed handlebar bags and cycling clothing.

Klunker Yellowstone / Grand Canyon Edition – $ 500

For starters, State offers two limited versions of its all-purpose cruiser, the Klunker. The splashed rainbow Yellowstone (above) and pink in color grand canyon (below) each built on a steel frame with BMX bars, gear, and 2.3 inch tires.

Best of all, this cruiser comes equipped with a coaster brake, so it’s 100% about riding in style.

Crush gravel on the 38c tires of the Joshua Tree Edition. This gravel construction has all kinds of eyelets for mounting, on the fork, seat tube and seat stays, and operates at 11 speeds. The All Road also has a heavy-duty thru axle and is available with 700 or 650b wheels.

Core-Line Sequoia – $ 400

Bull horns, a brake and plenty of speed – the Core-Line, a tribute to Redwood, is an urban fixie with a wild flair. Of course, you can flip the rear wheel and use a freewheel hub to keep that flair under control. Beyond that, it’s as perfectly simple as a bicycle.

Bar bags – $ 40

In addition to the eye-catching complete bikes, State also offers a limited series of colorful handlebar bags.

Designed to fit “virtually any bike,” the bags feature weather-resistant CORDURA 1000D construction and water-resistant YKK zippers.

Sweaters, cargo bibs – $ 50-90

The collection is rounded off with upbeat designs for jerseys and cargo bibs. Four jerseys accompany the colors of the bikes and bags. Each jersey uses 100% post-consumer recycled polyester.

Two models sport a back pocket and cost $ 80, and the other two have a clean cut and cost $ 50. Carbo bibs cost $ 90.
